Sounds like a pinched nerve in his sciatica. The rest try a pillow between your knees while standing at his side. This will help relieve tension in the back. Good luck and hope this helps.
I know that back pain is normal pregnancies. If you feel your baby move, then this is reassuring, but still led by their doctor.
Ask the doctor to be sure, but to me it sounds like sciatic nerve, a large number of baby wemon chamber gets what the press on this issue.
